Services Provided:

Appraisal &Authentication: The act of estimating or judging the nature or value of firearms. An estimate of value, as for sale, assessment, or taxation; valuation. An estimate or considered opinion of nature, quality, importance, etc.

Buy, Sell & Trade: Any firearm from 1898 for personal collection. When you place a trade, you are either 'buying' or 'selling' a financial instrument. A long position in trading is when you buy an asset in the expectation its price will rise. A short position in trading is when you sell an asset in the expectation its price will fall.

Consignment: In U.S. gun shops, a consignment gun is a gun that the shop is selling for someone else. A person may not want to deal with the process of selling a gun for whatever reason. They then bring this gun to a shop, and the shop puts it up for sale with the rest of their inventory.

Field Stripping & Cleaning Services: This is firearms terminology for the act of disassembling a firearm to the greatest possible extent without the usage of any extra tools. A disassembly that uses such tools is called a detail strip, but this is less common than a field strip , as the latter is usually sufficient for most cases.

Field strips are done to facilitate cleaning or identify damages. It is customary for soldiers to be taught how to conduct a field strip, both as a means of discipline, and to help create a sense of familiarity with the weapon. Because it is an integral part of owning and using a firearm, especially in a military context, firearm manufacturers will take considerations to make field strips expedient and simple.

Firearm Training Courses: Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual's right to self-defense. This is an eight-hour course.

Gunsmith: A gunsmith is a person who repairs, modifies, designs, or builds guns. The occupation differs from an armorer, who usually replaces only worn parts in standard firearms. Gunsmiths do modifications and changes to a firearm that may require a very high level of craftsmanship, requiring the skills of a top-level machinist, a very skilled woodworker, and even an engineer. Gunsmiths perform factory-level repairs and renovations to restore well-used or deteriorated firearms to new conditions. They may make alterations to adapt sporting guns to better fit the individual shooter that may require extensive modifications to the firearm's stocks and metal parts. Repairs and redesigns may require fabrication and fitting of unavailable parts and assemblies constructed by smiths themselves. Gunsmiths may also renew metal finishes or apply decorative carvings or engravings to guns. Many gun shops offer gunsmithing services on the premises.

Restorations: The conservation and restoration of historic firearms are preventative care, damage repair, stabilization, replacement of missing components, and potentially the return of the firearm to firing capabilities. It requires an understanding of the different types of historic firearms and knowledge in the care and treatment of organic and inorganic materials, as firearms are composed of many types of materials, from wood to metal, that are fitted together.
